For all the summer haters and fall lovers, something to look forward to this autumn is the beautiful Jack O’Lantern Blaze, more than 7,000 hand-carved illuminated pumpkins transformed into the most interesting sculptures.
Located in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, just one hour north of New York City, the Blaze is open from late September, almost daily in October and mostly weekends in November.
The path leads you through sculpture like carousels , windmills, and even the Statue of Liberty.
Food and October-inspired beers are available prior to your walk through to help you enjoy the creative designs of unicorns, dragons and dinosaurs.
Tickets are sold on hudsonvalley.org where other events tickets can be purchased such as the Horseman’s Hollow located in infamous Sleepy Hollow. The events will be on rain or shine so the tickets are non-refundable once sold.
Tickets for the weekend sell rather fast. Most weekends are sold out by the beginning of October so be sure to purchase tickets early. Adults go for $22 while children’s tickets sell for $16.
